The ESI Difference
ESI has been operating in St. Vincent & the Grenadines as a solar PV design, supply and installation company since 2009, making it the oldest solar installer in the country. We have also worked on several energy efficiency and general electrical projects. Over the last five years we have also been active in the regional energy space. Solar PV System Installation
PV system installation is the area in which ESI is most active. Since 2009 we have installed more than 1,100kW of rooftop and carport solar systems throughout St. Vincent and the Grenadines. We handle all aspects of each project including interconnection applications, import concession requests, equipment ordering, customs clearance and delivery to site, installation, commissioning, and inspections. This makes for a convenient and hassle-free experience for our clients. After sales service including preventive and corrective maintenance is also provided including on systems supplied by other installers.

Solar PV Plant Design
ESI’s team has significant experience in the design and specification of solar PV plants, including those with battery storage, for residential and commercial projects. We utilize multiple industry-leading software packages to create designs, visualize solar array layouts, assess the impact of storm-force winds on the installation and simulate the energy production of proposed solar PV installations. These geospatially based tools take into account the long-term meteorological attributes and wind exposure of the proposed solar installation site and allow us to accurately assess usable roof, ground or parking lot space as well as the impact of shading and weather on PV system performance. We also undertake all required engineering including cable sizing, underground infrastructure design, low voltage switchgear specification, and electrical drawing preparation.

Standby Generator Supply and Installation
Power outages for long or short durations can be very disruptive, leading to personal discomfort and loss of productive work time, income, and goods that require refrigeration. ESI provides standby generators, fuelled by liquified petroleum gas (LPG), that are cleaner, quieter, and less maintenance-intensive than standard diesel generators. These can be sized for both residential and commercial properties and supplied for single-phase and three-phase electrical loads. We handle all aspects of design, procurement, and installation including any civil works requirements.

Energy Audits and Energy Efficiency Retrofits
Poor selection of appliances, air conditioning systems, refrigerators and freezers, machinery, light fixtures, and other types of equipment often leads to higher than necessary electricity consumption and cost. Additionally, home and commercial facility users not practicing simple energy conservation habits can result in unnecessary energy usage. ESI undertakes energy audits to identify opportunities for homeowners and businesses to reduce electricity costs through investment in more efficient equipment and behavioural changes that mitigate energy wastage. We can also source and install energy conservation equipment to reduce electricity usage.
